DEPARTMENT NEWS
- Mathematics Department organized a seminar about "Why we go to Space" Mr. Hanson , an authorized person from NASA, did a perfect Presentation.
- We got 2nd place with our Mathematics Project on Science Fair. And we promoted to State wide Science Fair at San Antonio
- Mathematics Department organized a trip to NASA. It was fun!
- Every Tuesday and Saturday , there are Tutoring Classes for 6th grades
- "We`ve got your number" team got 1st place at Regional Science Olympiad at Texas A&M International. We promoted to State Wide Science Olympiad.
ACTIVITIES
HSS - Austin Science Olympiad Team attended the Texas Regional Science Olympiad on March 7, 2009 and got two gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal in individual competitions. As a team we got the 2nd place.
With this success HSS-Austin has been promoted to participate in the Texas State Olympiad on April 24-25, 2009 in College Station.
Thanks to our teachers, volunteer coaches, parents and students for their great sacrifice, support and effort to make it happen.
